I purchased this for my sister. She had one similiar and it broke. According to my sister this product really works. She has some problems with mobility with her shoulders. She said with consistant use it seems to help.

When I started physical therapy after having arthroscopic surgery for Impingement of the Shoulder, the therapist wanted me to use the shoulder pulley at home as part of my recovery exercises. I am very pleased with this Home Ranger Shoulder Pulley. It is the same exact one that is used at my physical therapy center and has helped me increase by range of motion. It is sturdy and well made. The two pulleys offered at my local medical supply store cost twice as much and were not made nearly as well.

The Home Ranger does a very good job of stretching a frozen shoulder.
However, one has to resinsert this model every time one uses it.
It is much more convenient to have a home ranger that is more or
less permanently affixed to the door. That is why I am upgrading to
the more deluxe model that has such a feature.

Physical Theropy sells this item $39.00 it is an item you need to keep range of motion in an injured shoulder. They out last several injurys so they can be passed on to someone else who has the need our may be saved just in case.
